CenterPointe Behavioral Health System Welcomes Jim Shaheen, VP of Outpatient Development
Brentwood, TN – CenterPointe Behavioral Health System is pleased to welcome Jim Shaheen as Vice President of Outpatient Development. Jim brings over 30 years of corporate and senior executive experience with several prestigious behavioral health companies including, Founder and President of Strategic Behavioral Health, Keystone Education and Youth Services/Universal Health Services, Charter Health, Rivendell Psychiatric Hospital and Cumberland Hall Psychiatric Hospital.
Jim is a proven national behavioral health leader with a strong track record in building and growing behavioral health treatment centers and hospitals from inception to high performance and national prominence. Jim is highly regarded as an innovative and effective leader and change agent with extensive experience in working with leadership teams to develop efficient and successful businesses.
Jim is dedicated to serving the community’s behavioral health needs and serves on several corporate and community boards including, Board Chair – University of Tennessee College of Medicine Board of Visitor; Board Member- Jason Foundation, the largest suicide prevention training program in the United States; Co-Founder – JC Runyon Foundation, providing college scholarships to high school students who have overcome mental/addiction challenges; and Longtime Board Member – National Association for Behavioral Healthcare (NABH). Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Communication from Murray State University, Murry, Kentucky.
