ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:
Jennifer Zluhan is an LPN and TMS Manager at CenterPointe Hospital, working with clients suffering from Major Depressive Disorder.
Jennifer has been a nurse for 36 years working in various aspects of nursing, including the last 15 years at CenterPointe Hospital and the last 2 years as TMS Manager.
Jordan Cantrell is a Therapist and TMS treater at CenterPointe Hospital.
Jordan has worked at CenterPointe for 5 years as a mental health technician, TMS treater, and as a Therapist.
Jordan earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2013 and her master’s degree in professional counselling at Lindenwood University in 2020.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) has proven to be very effective in treating depression and other treatment resistant disorders. This lecture will provide an overview of TMS and how it works, criteria for how to select appropriate candidates for treatment and treatment outcomes.
CEUs: 1.5 CEUs will be awarded to Missouri Social Workers, Missouri Licensed Professional Counselors and Missouri Addiction Counselors at the completion of the lecture. A Certificate of Attendance verifying 1.5 clock hours will be awarded to other disci-plines to submit to their respective licensing boards.
