The Stepping Stones Adolescent Treatment Program offers a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient treatment services for adolescents ages 12-17 years and an inpatient program for children who are struggling with emotional problems and substance abuse. CenterPointe provides an ideal place for youth who are struggling with the challenges faced by our youth today. Our physicians and clinicians have proudly served and successfully treated hundreds of youth and their loved ones facing crisis situations.
Inpatient treatment offers treatment modalities and services designed to address age-specific needs. Our experienced staff, under the direction of the attending psychiatrist, provides acute care services for a complete range of psychiatric disorders. Inpatient treatment includes a comprehensive evaluation, crisis stabilization, group and individual therapies, medication management, life coping skills education and expressive arts therapies.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
CenterPointe offers evening Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) as a less intensive level of care (than inpatient treatment) for adolescents with psychiatric disorders. The program meets three evenings each week which allows adolescents the opportunity to continue their regular school schedule during the day and attend IOP in the evening.
Using a group modality, IOP provides opportunities for adolescents to learn healthy living, problem-solving, coping and relapse prevention skills through group therapy, discussions, role playing and informational sessions. Medication management is provided through the admitting psychiatrist.
